Can Myopia Be Stopped?
Dr. Abraham Khouri talks to us about Myopia and the options through which it can be solved. Myopia is a condition that can lead to visual deficiency or blindness if it remains very high. What exactly is it? It is a refractive error and is, along with hyperopia and astigmatism, one of the most common eye disorders. It consists of the eye not being able to clearly focus images, resulting in blurred vision. The disorder increases due to:

  • The use of digital screens from childhood.
  • Poor posture or visual hygiene and the pace of modern life.
  • Few hours spent outdoors and many hours studying or confined in closed spaces.
