Ocular Ultrasound
It is an ultrasonography that allows us to evaluate the eyeball and orbit. Uses/Applications: Ocular trauma, intraocular or orbital tumors, media opacities (cataracts, vitreitis), retinal detachment, and vitreous hemorrhages.
OCT Solix
The OCT Solix is an advanced optical coherence tomography system that provides high-resolution images of the retina and optic nerve, providing detailed information for the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other retinal pathologies.
Biometry
Consists of measuring the axial length of the eyeball using the immersion technique, which ensures greater accuracy. Uses: For calculating the intraocular lens placed in cataract surgery; for diagnosis and monitoring of eye diseases such as: Phthisis bulbi, Microphthalmia, Nanophthalmia, Axial Myopia, and Congenital Glaucoma.
Interferometry Biometry (LENSTAR)
High-precision instrument that performs all measurements for intraocular lenses. The objective of the test is to assess the vitreous humor, retina, and orbit with the help of the Biometer-Echograph. This determines the axial length to calculate the intraocular lens that should be implanted in cataract surgery. It is also used for monitoring myopia in children and young people.
Pachymetry (Pachette 4)
Pachymetry with Pachette 4 allows precise measurement of corneal thickness. Uses: Determination of real intraocular pressure in glaucoma diagnosis and monitoring, preparation for refractive surgery, and keratoconus diagnosis.
Digital Fluorescein Angiography (TopCon TRC-50DX)
Digital Fluorescein Angiography with TopCon TRC-50DX provides detailed images of blood flow in the retina. Uses: Evaluation of diabetic patients, macular degenerations, and retinal vascular diseases.
Visual Field Testing (Humphrey HFA 740i)
It is a diagnostic test that determines visual field alterations. Uses: For diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma, neurological diseases, and intracranial tumors.
FDT Matrix Visual Field Testing
It is an instrument for studying the visual field, designed for early, rapid, and effective detection of visual field reduction. It is used in patients who do not collaborate well with Humphrey perimetry and can detect visual alterations earlier than Humphrey. Uses: For diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma, neurological diseases, and intracranial tumors.
OCT Cirrus
Latest generation and high-resolution Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) that enables diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma and optic nerve diseases, macular and retinal pathology. Uses: Diagnosis and monitoring of Glaucoma, optic nerve diseases, retina, and macular area.
Specular Microscope EM-4000 Tomey
Equipment for counting and analyzing corneal endothelial cells. Measuring corneal endothelial cells is essential when planning eye surgery.
ITRACE
The ITRACE is a device that allows analysis of the eye's optical quality, measuring both the optical system and the patient's subjective visual quality. Uses: Pre and postoperative evaluation in refractive and cataract surgery.
VERION
The VERION system allows precise planning and execution of eye surgeries, especially in cataract procedures, providing visual guidance during surgery. Uses: Cataract surgery with greater precision and personalization in intraocular lens selection.
Gonioscopy
Gonioscopy consists of visualizing the anterior chamber angle of the eye using special lenses; it is performed to determine the state of the angle and classify the type of glaucoma.
Pentacam (Pentacam HR)
Evaluates the anterior and posterior corneal surface, measures corneal thickness, lens density, anterior chamber evaluation, and chamber angle. Uses: Prior to refractive surgery and its follow-up, corneal ectasias such as Keratoconus, exact keratometric data in patients who have undergone refractive surgeries, prior to intracorneal ring implantation, Crosslinking and its follow-up, among others.
